Paul Billimoria, President
Paul has over 20 years of varied experience serving in Operations, Human Resources, and General Management capacities. He began his career in 1989 as a Principal in a full service advertising agency, Creative Marketing Directions that specialized in biotech marketing and advertising. From 1995 to 1999 Paul rose from Associate Consultant to Director of Consulting for HRG, Inc. where he worked with over 50 companies across multiple industries including biotech, high tech, manufacturing, professional services, energy, healthcare and financial services.
In 1999 Paul moved to Canyon Graphics, Inc., a specialty printing company. As Vice President of Operations at Canyon he helped grow the company to a three shift operation with over 120 employees. Under Paul’s leadership Canyon more than doubled their annual revenues in four years.
Most recently Paul has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Randall K, one of the largest national manufacturers of high-end custom bedding in the U.S. Paul was recruited to return to HRG as its President, by the company’s founder.
Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Stan Sewitch, Founder, Senior Consultant
Stan is the founder of HRG, Inc. Formed in 1989, HRG has become known as the center of solutions for many companies in our range of consulting services.
Stan also formed three other companies. In 1990, he launched Emlyn Systems, a software company publishing a human resources information system. In 1991 he co-founded Chromagen, a biotechnology company endeavoring to commercialize proprietary assays for drug research. Stan currently serves on the board of several companies as well. In 2006, he founded KI Investment Holdings, LLC, a private equity company investing in innovative companies for the long-term.
Prior to his entrepreneurial adventures, Stan held senior management positions in operations and human resources. He was manufacturing director for TRW’s LSI products division in San Diego. LSI was the first company to produce one-micron bipolar analog-to-digital converters and high-speed digital signal processors in CMOS. Stan was also operations director for Elm Corporation, a salmon fishery in Bethel, Alaska. Stan’s human resources management assignments included Martin Marietta Aluminum, Smith International, TRW and Mycogen Corporation.
Stan holds an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and a B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University.
Stan authors a weekly column on business for the San Diego Daily Transcript, entitled “Notes from the Corporate Underground” and has written a book of the same title. He is a frequent speaker at professional and trade organizations. He was a faculty instructor for UCSD’s Extension School of Engineering for five years, teaching a course in technical group leadership.
Stan is a member and director of the Corporate Directors Forum, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the quality and performance of corporate governance. Stan also served as Chairman of its Program Committee for three years.
Diane Uyematsu, SPHR, Senior Consultant
Diane has over thirty years of human resources experience and provides client services in the areas of compensation planning and design, including base pay plans and structures, competitive analysis, and development of annual and long-term incentive plans. She also provides services in management training, legal compliance in employment, and human resources department assessment and development. She has worked extensively with employers in the finance, banking, manufacturing, distribution, construction, service, and government sectors.
Diane was a Principal in RSM McGladrey’s Business Consulting Group and was for 17 years responsible for the firm’s human resources consulting services in the Los Angeles area. Prior to joining RSM McGladrey, she was president of Personnel and Administrative Resources, a full-service human resources consulting firm.
Diane is active in a number of professional organizations, including the NHRA, SHRM, PIHRA, and World at Work, formerly American Compensation Association. She has served as Chair of PIHRA District 8, recently served on the Board of the Orange County affiliate of NHRA, and is a featured keynote speaker on topics such as compensation, employee retention, and legal issues in employment.
Diane has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and an MBA from Chapman University.
Susan Bock, SEBS, SPHR, Senior Consultant
Susan has over twenty-five years of experience in human resources and provides consulting services in the areas of compensation plan design, benefits compliance and management, and performance management. She also assists clients with HR policy and procedures, development of employee handbooks and preparation of affirmative action plans. She provides consulting services to a variety of small to mid-sized organizations in a wide range of industry sectors, including construction, service, not-for-profits, manufacturing, distribution, government and finance.
Susan was a manager in the Southern California area Human Resources Consulting Group of RSM McGladrey, Inc. Her earlier work experience includes HR management positions at Southwest Construction Materials and Services (now Hanson HeidelbergCement), Ingram Micro, the City of Santa Monica and FHP.
Susan is editor and a co-author of Mandated Benefits: 2009 Compliance Guide (2008, Aspen Publishers, Inc.). She was a part-time instructor on the faculty of Chapman University, California, teaching Human Resources and Compensation Management for the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists program.
Susan has earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She has also been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute and is active in a number of professional organizations, including OCC ISCEBS, where she serves as Treasurer, as well as OCCABA and SHRM.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University (Ohio) and a Master of Human Resource Management from the University of Utah.
Evan Loker, Director of Analytics
Evan combines experience in the fields of engineering, business, finance and consulting with over 6 years of practical expertise in Project Management, Operational, Financial, and Statistical Analysis. His career began in 2006 on the North Slope of Alaska assisting in the daily operational oversight of large, complex construction and engineering projects in excess of $1 Billion. In 2010 he worked as a financial analyst and researcher on a project basis for a successful e-commerce start-up in Kansas City, Missouri. There he assisted the CEO in raising $1 Million in Series A funding. He also analyzed business workflow, vendor and employee processes, and provided the start-up with estimates for the associated costs for each work unit.
In 2011 Evan completed his MBA while acting as a Consultant for the Unified Port of San Diego and its Copper Reduction Program. Evan and his consulting team designed and administered primary research surveys to measure awareness levels and communication channels in order to recommend an effective marketing and communications strategy.
Evan joined HRG in 2011 as an Investment Analyst. As a Consultant at HRG, Evan has worked on projects ranging from investment analysis, predictive modeling, strategic planning, market research and operational assessment.
Evan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University.
